Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy focusses on how we manage in everyday life including routines, roles, energy, pacing, emotions, and sensory experiences in our environments. When stress, trauma, or sensory differences are present, daily tasks can feel overwhelming or exhausting. Using an occupational therapy lens, I work collaboratively with you to understand how your nervous system responds to the world around you and to develop practical, personalised supports that make everyday life feel more manageable and sustainable when working towards meaninful goals.

Sensory informed work is woven throughout therapy and recognises that our bodies constantly take in and respond to sensory information such as sound, light, movement and touch. Differences in sensory processing are not something to be fixedc; they are meaningful responses to your unique sensory profile and identify strategies that support regulation, reduce overwhelm and increase a sense of safety and control. This may include adapting environments, routines or expectations, and finding sensory supports that feel respectful, age appropriate and aligned with your needs.

Occupational therapy can also integrate well with psychological therapy approaches through bringing the benefits of deeper healing to meaningful benefits witnessed in everyday life.
